Wish all the artist best of luck and a good sleep tonight! We are going to need all the energy tomorrow!
For general attendees, the market room will open at 10pm, and will close at 7pm. There is no entrance fee involved, so feel welcome to come at any time of the day!
For those of you that are new to MiniComi, here are things you can do:
1. Browse and buy artwork and crafts! We have over 60 tables this year of talented artists and craftsmen of all types and ages! Feel welcome to chat with the artists and share tricks and tips!
2. Come look at the cosplays! MiniComi is a cosplay friendly event, and there will be lots of talented cosplayers with beautiful costumes on. If you cosplay yourself, take the time to do some friendly networking!
3. Participate in our photo scavenger hunt. You need to have a twitter account for this, and a mobile device that can take pictures and tweet. Participate and get the chance to win a pair of Anime Revolution tickets! This event will run from 11am to 3pm.
4. Visit the table of other Vancouver conventions! Both J-fest and Anime Revolution will be present at MiniComi. If you have any questions or wish to buy passes, visit them at MiniComi!
5. Find out more about studying in Japan! Nihon Go Go has both a table and a panel at MiniComi to tell you more about their services if you wish to study in Japan. Come find out what the process is like and how Nihon Go Go can help you!
6. Just come and hang out! Bring your friends and family! Have a picnic! Take a walk around UBC! Find people that are in your fandom! Share your tumblr accounts! Have a gif party! And enjoy this wonderful Saturday! 8D

There is no entrance fee, so it is a walk in and have fun type of event. 8D
MiniComi is more of a Comiket-like market. Long story short, it’s like the Artist Alley market galore. So we only have the cosplay and the artist alley currently. In terms of panels, this year we only have Go Go Nihon’s presentation on their overseas study services.
Yes. Cosplays are very welcome! Rules are per the usual anime/gaming/comic conventions. That is to say, no replica weapons, no metal props, appropriate behaviors (ie no glomp circles and/or inappropriate signage), etc. And watch where you are, because it will be crowded!
Less than a week to MiniComi! Wish all of our artist the best in their preparations!
So after much of my hectic graduation/family life, I am finally (sort of) back on MiniComi duty for a short while.
Current progress: We have allocated all the tables to the artists. Hopefully, we shall be able to start sending out confirmation by this weekend and let everyone know where your tables are.
On the other hand, I am hosting a live QnA session on my tinychat (http://tinychat.com/kittymaverick) on Saturday the 16th of June, from 3pm to 5pm PST. At this session, feel welcome to ask any questions, whether you be an artist or an attendee. I will also likely cover some rules with regards to the market.
…If there are no questions, you may always must come to watch me make a fool of myself on the internet for entertainment. 8D
(Or just…hang out online, because that’s fashionable nowadays.)
That’s all for now~

Sadly, we don’t have a forum. We do have a facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/minicomivancouver/. If you are lucky, there may be someone with some space available for sharing. :)
Today is the last day for first tier table prices! Sign up before today ends if you want to save some money!
